Apple Goalie Masks

Overview

A film about iPad that argues for the device by showing the work rather than the product. A hockey goalie mask is designed from nothing: a loose graphite sketch of a horned head, filled to a flat silhouette, then built up in tone until the fur, the horns and the teeth hold at macro range. The camera then goes in close on the Apple Pencil working the red, so the last thing you see is not an interface but a hand painting.
